BEWARE! Off-the-shelf utility ramps are

not specifically engineered for cot loading !

Our 12ft. length is absolutely necessary to prevent weight-burdened cots from “bottoming” when entering and exiting the ramps, thereby avoiding injuries and cot damage. TranSafe is the only unsupported ramp system at 12ft with a load capacity of 1,000lbs and greater.

Ramp attachment points allow for variances in ground condition and grade. Ramps can be used at angles up to parallel with the ground, permitting a span from ambulance to a house threshold ( bridging steps or other obstacles ).

A universal installation package allows the TranSafe system to be used with any make, model and style of ambulance. Portable and interchangeable, one system can be used in multiple vehicles. By installing floor plates and an electrical connection, an entire fleet can be bariatric ready at the lowest possible cost. Multiple vehicles, ramp ready, help to increase productivity and avoid downtime.  Some services store the system in  “fly-cars” (SUV or Sedan ), then dispatch fly-cars to meet up with ambulances that are outfitted to accept the ramp system.

Light weight and compact for easy set-up and storage. Ramp sections fold to 12”x14”x48” and weigh only 41 pounds. One crewmember can set-up an ambulance for loading in minutes.

The TranSafe system has been tested and is recommended by the world’s largest cot manufacturers. The system is compatible with all bariatric, wide body and conventional cots. We supply everything you need to load any cot.

For safety and durability, the system incorporates a 3700-pound pull capacity “Warn” brand winch.
